How it works

Two modules, one automation.

The room module reads temperature, humidity and CO₂ and receives the setpoint in the conditioned space. The machine module sits on the AHU and commands the peripherals. The two talk over Modbus, wired, or over the STG wireless network.

The room module has a display, temperature, humidity and CO₂ sensors and setpoint adjustment. The machine module concentrates inputs, outputs and the pressure taps on the AHU.

Control points

What the machine module commands on the AHU

  • Outdoor air controlOutdoor air damper with a 0–10 V actuator. Opening follows the room module's CO₂ reading: demand-controlled fresh air, only what is needed to keep CO₂ within the configured limit.
  • Supply airRelay to start and stop the fan and 0–10 V output for airflow control. With the differential pressure read on the machine and the fan's K-factor, the controller keeps airflow constant.
  • Heating and coolingChilled water or expansion valves, proportional or on/off, and heating coils (electric or hot water), commanded from the setpoint and the room temperature reading. Serves chilled water, VRF and VRV.
  • Humidity controlThe controller handles humidity: it compares the relative humidity read in the room with the setpoint and commands the humidifier and, where planned, dehumidification through the coil. The logic ships in the firmware, no programming.
  • SafetyUp to 3 filter pressure switches and a safety thermostat on the digital inputs, with alarms and alerts.

Firmware dedicated to AHUs. No separate PLC.
